Privacy Policy

Information you give us. When you call, text, or email us, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, phone number, email address, company, and details about the material you want to dump or buy.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time). We use these only to keep the site running and secure. This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If we add website analytics or advertising tags in the future, we will update this policy first.

Information from third parties. The map on our site is embedded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may collect information about your visit under the Google Privacy Policy. Clicking our Instagram link takes you to Meta’s platform, governed by their policies.

• To respond to your questions, quotes, and directions requests.
• To coordinate load drop-offs, material pickups, invoicing, and receipts.
• To keep records required for our business, tax, and regulatory obligations.
• To operate, protect, and improve the website.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers who help us run the business (for example, our web host, email provider, and accounting tools), and only as needed to do their job.
• When required by law, subpoena, or a government request.
• To protect the rights, safety, or property of VP Recycling, our customers, or others.
• If our business is sold or merged, to the new owner, under this same policy.

If you text or call us, we will reply through the same channel to help with your request. We do not run automated marketing text campaigns. If you ever receive a message from us you don’t want, reply STOP or tell us and we will stop.

We keep contact and transaction records for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them. Server logs are kept for a short, rolling period by our hosting provider.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption on this site and access controls on our business systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site is intended for contractors, haulers, and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The effective date at the top tells you when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
