Dump Rules
Clean loads move fast. These are the rules our gate crew works from every day — read them before you load and you will be in and out.
At the gate
Every load is inspected on arrival. Acceptance and any additional fees are decided at the gate.
- 1Every load is inspected when it arrives.
- 2Loads with dirt, excessive rebar and wire, or oversize pieces (larger than 2 × 2 × 2 ft) are charged additional fees.
- 3No trash. No hazardous materials.
- 4Need to dump after hours? Ask ahead — a reopening fee applies.
Before you load
Keep it clean
Concrete and asphalt only. Dirt, mud, and soil mixed into a load mean extra fees at the gate.
Cut back rebar and wire
A little is normal. Excessive rebar, mesh, or wire sticking out of the pieces is charged extra or refused.
Break down oversize pieces
Nothing bigger than 2 × 2 × 2 feet. Bust up slabs and footings before you load them.
No trash, no hazardous material
Wood, plastic, bags, tires, paint, fuel, or anything hazardous cannot come in. Sort it out on the job site.
Secure the load
Tarp or strap it down. It keeps the road safe and gets you through the gate faster.
Coming after hours? Call first
After-hours dumping is by arrangement only and a reopening fee applies. Call before you leave the site.
Fees
Clean concrete and asphalt is charged at our standard rate. Additional fees apply to:
- Loads containing dirt
- Excessive rebar or wire
- Oversize pieces (larger than 2 × 2 × 2 feet)
- After-hours reopening
Rates are confirmed by phone or at the yard and can change, so call (619) 708-5358 before you haul if you need a number.
Ready to haul?
We are open Mon–Sat, 6:30am–4:30pm at 850 Energy Way, Chula Vista. Pull in, get inspected, dump, and go.
Common questions
- Do you take dirt?
- No. Dirt is not accepted on its own, and dirt mixed into concrete or asphalt loads is charged additional fees.
- What about rebar?
- Concrete with some rebar in it is normal and accepted. Loads with excessive rebar or wire are charged extra or turned away, so cut it back before you haul.
- What counts as oversize?
- Any piece larger than 2 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet. Oversize material is charged additional fees or refused.
- Can I dump outside 6:30am–4:30pm?
- Only by prior arrangement. Call ahead and expect a reopening fee.
